A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Hello. I am a blogger.a content creator.a tech expert.a fixer.a movie quoter.

I started my career in IT in 2003 when I joined the IT department at a home builder in Southern California. I soon moved on to an IT consulting firm, as an IT Manager. After I moved to Utah, and started working with a different IT consulting firm, and worked with them for 8 years.

During my time as an IT manager, I also created a blog to help families understand technology better called FamilyTechZone.com.

I recently left the IT consulting world to start my business helping tech companies with content marketing. Through Sewk.Tech I am able to put the skills I have gained growing my own websites into helping IT service providers, consumer technology companies, and more reach their customers and clients through blogging and social media.

I love to write about technology.

From business to business articles, to helping parents understand how a new app will change their life, I have a unique background that can be valuable to tech companies. As I connect your customers to your business, together we can find the exact formula to reach more people!

  • How to Catch All of the Olympic Events
by Sarah Kimmel on February 13, 2018 at 12:46 am

Several years ago I accused NBC of ruining my favorite thing in the whole world to watch (the Olympics). Now I’m not saying that what I said at the time completely changed how they do it now… but I’m not NOT saying that. This year, NBC has come SO far, and I have to say, […] The post How to Catch All of the Olympic Events appeared first on Family Tech Zone. […]

by Sarah Kimmel on February 7, 2018 at 11:37 pm

I remember the days of browsing through stacks and stacks of CD’s at Tower Records or Blockbuster Music. The first CD I ever purchased was Debbie Gibson’s Electric Youth. I’m not sure how much that dates me. by Sarah Kimmel on February 5, 2018 at 4:16 pm

Although I didn’t win the pool this year at our Superbowl party (like I have for the last 2 years!), I still had a great time with my friends! We ate a LOT of food. I was rooting for the Patriots, because that’s Chris Evans’ team, and whatever cap’ likes, I like. The real question […] The post The Best Superbowl Commercials 2018 appeared first on Family Tech Zone. […]

“Through the grape-vine I had heard of Sarah Kimmel. Words like, wizard – techie goddess – blog medium – genius always followed her name…I raised the white flag and reached out to her.
She was there. Swift, fast and precise. I knew I was in the right hands by the questions she was asking and the quick GoDaddy “change of domain” acknowledgements Gmail was providing. By 9pm the dust had settled and all was well. She rode off into the sunset.”
